Stacey Levine has written four books of fiction: The Girl with Brown Fur: Tales and Stories, Frances Johnson (a novel), Dra--- (a novel),  and My Horse and Other Stories. A recipient of a PEN/West Fiction award and a Stranger Genius Award for literature, she has contributed fiction to Tin House, The Fairy Tale Review, Fence, The Brooklyn Rail, Yeti, and others. Currently, she is working on MICE 1961, a novel. She teaches at Seattle Central College.
